Irish Rail reducing direct trains to Dublin

I spotted this in the Limerick Post this morning (cleverly hidden at the end of a Ryanair piece). Apparently, Irish Rail are reducing the number of direct trains to and from Dublin, and increasing the number of connections to/from Limerick Junction to meet the Cork train.

This is a bit of a balls to be honest (and I'd imagine students won't be too happy about it). Not too bad if you're coming from Dublin, but its no fun hopping on a busy Cork train in LJ and not being able to find a seat.
