squeeky door !!

hi , mt bathroom door is squeeking very loudly . does anyone know best way to stop this ? . i tried wd-40 on hinges , , it helped for a few days but has gone back same !!

Badly adjusted hinges can cause the door to stress and squeak, or cause it to rub against the top architrave, also squeaking. If WD40 doesn't stop it I'd think it's something other than just dry hinges. Try putting a sheet of paper on the top edge of the door over the hinge side and opening and closing it. If it doesn't squeak then, it's rubbing on the frame.
