    Hey,
    I was wondering, can you use any battery provided it connects into your gun? Or does it have to be the same mAh, volts, and material (NiCd, NiMh)?

    As long as its capable of turning the motor over you can use it.

    Voltage safe margins would suggest not using anything above 10volts.

    There are some folk who run 11.1 Lipo's but they do so knowingly at their own risk or with a gearbox modified to take it.

    9.6V is the norm, or 7.4V on lipo.

    Yes as long as the connector fits :) the higher the mAh the longer you're battery should last, a higher voltage also means a higher ROF, but more wear on the gearbox
