Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What year and make is the jeep?

jeep is an 02 grand vitara, thing is, garage is used my father and his business for years, so i doubt there is any foul play involved, could it just be a typo, or is the mileage taken from the jeep by computer?

They say you're meant to check all details are correct when you're collecting your cert.

I'm sure if you brought it back to the same centre and possibly the same tester within a couple of days and showed them the odomoter and cert they'd sort it for you though

it wasn't me who brought in the jeep, this annoying now, bloody test centre is other side of country and i am due to head back to where i live tomorrow, arah sure i'll sort something out!

Im sure the NCT centre could re issue a cert with the correct mileage if you ask them.

the missus got her nct cert back with vauxhall victor on it , instead of vauxhall astra on it, she rang them and they changed it once she sent in the cert she was given and a copy of the log book, so maybe you can do the same by verifying the mileage with an nct centre and sending it off then

similar thing happened to me a few months ago, what i did was return to the centre where i had the car tested and said it to the guy in charge,he came out and checked the milage on my car, agreed there was a descrepiancy,he then kept the green sheet with the nct disc on it and told me a new green sheet with the correct mileage would be issued to me in the post.
a week later i got it in the post.
    simples!

...seeing as the NCT mileage is unverifiable, what difference does it make ?

I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
