Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know what the story is with trains to Galway today? They seem to be only running to Athlone.. And no bus service from there!

    Is this likely to change?

Not for a week , Galway is a biblical lake . Train to Limerick and Bus to Galway is the only way in right now , confirm the buses are still running before you even think of it.

come ere. Ever think of looking at the railway's website first before posting on an an internet fourm?

anyhow. Here is what the railways website says (linked prominently from the front page, and posted yesterday so its been there overnight).
    20th November

Services between Galway and Athlone will be cancelled with the exception of:

    07.15 Galway to Athenry Only
    08.00 Athenry to Galway

This is due to flooding on the road network, which is causing severe disruption to alternative road services.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.
