I don't like boxing, so when it is on tv I watch something else!

I seriously can't stand it when people make assumptions about people based on what they watch on tv or the music they listen to..
My mother does this and thinks I am an "airhead" becuase I like some reality television. I also watch films that people think are boring and nerdy so I really can't win.

    Russel Brand and his hair

I quite liked Russel Brand when he was on BB's Big Mouth and I love him being interviewed as this is always where we see the true talent of comedians (unless they strat going into 'material' mid-interview when feed prearranged lines).

However, I seen him at the O2 and it was useless. can't blame the hecklers for him being as poor as he was.

Also, Brand is one of those guys, if he wasn't famous and walked down Grafton (in his md 30's) in skinny jeans and hair a mess, girls would give him a wide berth.

Bruxelles is full of guys who look like that and ain't no girls screaming their heads of at them and shouting 'get your kit off' as they walk down the road.

The trend towards heartless cruelty on the internet. The obvious example is Youtube comments where the first few replies are usually 'fat', 'gay' 'ugly' or something constructive like that. Why do people lose their humanity when they go online. Or are 'people just jerks' and the internet provides a safe medium for them to vent their innate horribleness?

    That's a depressing comic.

    That's a depressing comic.

I find it comforting, it reminds me never to take the Internet seriously.

I watched this for the first time on saturday and although it is really written for gothy teeny boppers I will be defintely going to see the other two as there were so many beautiful looking men in it. I can't decide who is the hottest so I will probably need to watch each film a few times in order to make up my mind.

watched Twilight for the first time. Its rubbish. She cant act all she does is blink and stutter and say uh.. and all he does is look moody. Then the stupid musical interludes to try give the effect they are getting to know each other and 'inlove' and dodgy fight scene WTF how do ppl like that rubbish!
    haha

Music today is so shite. :( 95% of it has no meaning whatsoever. I know as a teenager it's a strange complaint but it's all about sex now. Christ, as if I don't hear enough of it everywhere else. Yeah it's good to do it, not fucking hear about someone else who did it (especially a guy). Or else their on about some love on a dance floor, using some beat we've heard before, and before...and before that. It's sad that most of the times, a good artist will have a good first album. Why? Because they don't care about the money, just abit of recognition. Then it goes to shít when they release their second album. Why? They get a taste of the money, and found out about this quick-money thing, where a good synthesiser makes you millions. Example - The Killers.

So true. (Apart from The Boss's new album which is my avatar you mean :D)

I like Kings Of Leon too and some of The Script but in general you are right.

I get 80's songs into my head and can't get them out lately and then end up on YouTube replaying and replaying them.

    Here's today's tune from the 80's :)

    A popular trend I hate?

Hating The Twilight Saga. The writing isn't great but the story is actually quite good. The movies are also decent and the acting is pretty good (Out of the main characters only Kristen Stewart is so-so (but she gets away with it because she is hot) the rest are good) plus both movies have a killer soundtrack.

I would say that most people who hate it haven't read the books and just heard that "oh it's a movie/book about vampires and love" so it's obviously gay. Other arguments are ones like above - "oh it's copied from other sources". Yeah, lovely. Try writing a supernatural story that doesn't borrow some sort of myth or mythological creatures from somewhere. It's pretty damn hard.

Yes, teen girls who love it are pretty annoying. But guess what? Teen girls are annoying most of the time.

    Stop being silly.

Yeah, well I hate people who hate hating Twilight ;)

I'd say most people hate the obsession with it moreso than then actual books/films, I know that's how I feel.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test
