My brother got a bottle of it in Cork in the last few days, but I assume that's too far away for you?

yep it would be quicker for me to head up north (plus it would be dryer :D ) Was it a specialist off licence or one of the supermarket chain’s he got it in ???

No idea I'm afraid. He was looking for Four Bells but couldn't get it for love nor money, so got that instead. But I don't know where he found it.

sainsburys had it on special offer about a month ago, I think it was around the 14-15 quid mark for the 70cl bottle

According to their website it’s 15.99 sterling compared to a place in town that is 37.14 euros , I think my sister is going north of the boarder before Christmas so I’ll be sending her shopping for a few bottles (if I was to get 2 or more bottles it would make it worth my while driving all the way up to north just for the rum)

I saw Sailor Jerrys on Thursday in Bradleys while scanning behind the counter. They have some range of spirits for a modest sized off licence. They'll also order any special requests you may have. I was looking for a Welsh whiskey and they said they could get their hands on it for me. What a marvelous store! :)

Got a bottle in The Celtic Whiskey Shop on Dawson Street a month or two ago, beautiful stuff.

Tasted that in The Abbot's in Cork a while back.
    Euughhhh!!!!!!!
Thought it was one of the most awful, artificial tasting rums I'd ever tried (although it did taste like it might go well with coke - if you like that sort of thing).
There's no accounting for taste, I guess!
