Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not in the same league as all the roads around the country closed due to flooding, but I thought I'd highlight this incident in Limerick for anyone who hasn't heard about it!

Irish Independent - Chaos as Shannon 'uproots' giant Christmas tree (photo in article)

AA Roadwatch report: "*LIMERICK CITY* Shannon Bridge in Limerick is closed until 12pm, after the 60ft Christmas tree got lodged against the bridge. The Condell Rd inbound is closed from the Clonmacken R/A."

Also on boards here and here.

Why does it seem like something that would happen in Springfield in the Simpsons?

As regards the more serious issue of flooded roads, I don't think Limerick has been affected yet, but presumably all that water up the Shannon has to arrive sometime (e.g. River Suck bursting its banks). One wonders if Ardnacrusha will need opened up soon?
