Some lovely balanced commentary from Chris Waddle... Felliani's elbow was worthy of a free kick and yellow. Exact same situation with Vidic on Heitenga and "he didn't mean it"... :rolleyes:

This game is far from over. Everton still look dangerous going forward and have real quality up there. Rafael is threading a fine line imo.

We need a 2nd to put this away. I also would like to see Obertan get on for Giggs, let him get some real space.

FFS, Fellaini gets pulled up for an elbow 5 minutes ago. Vidic cuts Johnny and gets away with it. Whats all that about?

It's easier to play the same game when the same rules are applied to both participants... No chance was Cahill's yellow legititmate either, free kick should have gone our way. we're not playing well, make no mistake but the referee isn't helping by continuously giving the flow of the game back to the home side.

The ref must have deemed Fellani as intentional and Vidic's not, simple really.

What type of rubbish are you talking?

You can accidentally take someone down in the box and its still a penalty if you foul them. Its the outcome of the incident that matters... not whether it was intentional or not...

the only time that intentional/accidental comes into play is with a handball
