Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Da Silva's passing could be a bit better, but otherwise he's good to watch so far.

Excellent tackle by Brown, Saha showing a lot of pace there!

Darren Fletcher you absolute legend. That was special.

Don't see the hype behind Rodwell, looks distinctly average.

    Great goal Fletcher.

i hate to say it, but Rodwell will be gone in 2, maybe 3 years imo.

    probably to utd.

especially if hargreaves never makes it back properly, and if Carrick doesn't fully rediscover his form.

    Great goal Fletcher.

He's only young yet, the lad will be a great player when he's older.
So far so good, had a double on West Brom and United. :)

With the amount of space utd have I would love for Obertan to come on for the 2nd half.

Some lovely balanced commentary from Chris Waddle... Felliani's elbow was worthy of a free kick and yellow. Exact same situation with Vidic on Heitenga and "he didn't mean it"...

    Rafael has been excellent.

Was thinking the exact same to be honest. Didn't see much of a difference in the two incidents.

Everton are playing so deep they could find oil.

Nice goal by united, only a matter of time.

Hope Moyes gets the hair dryer out.....

This game is far from over. Everton still look dangerous going forward and have real quality up there. Rafael is threading a fine line imo.

We need a 2nd to put this away. I also would like to see Obertan get on for Giggs, let him get some real space.

 Seems to me like he was trying to get sent off in that first half. His passing hasn't been great at all.

FFS, Fellaini gets pulled up for an elbow 5 minutes ago. Vidic cuts Johnny and gets away with it. Whats all that about?

It's easier to play the same game when the same rules are applied to both participants... No chance was Cahill's yellow legititmate either, free kick should have gone our way. we're not playing well, make no mistake but the referee isn't helping by continuously giving the flow of the game back to the home side.

The ref must have deemed Fellani as intentional and Vidic's not, simple really.

intentional or not, it was still an elbow that caused a nasty cut.

Intenional is a foul, accidental is not,

Yeah, if the ref didn't see it it's legal god dammit!

What type of rubbish are you talking?

You can accidentally take someone down in the box and its still a penalty if you foul them. Its the outcome of the incident that matters... not whether it was intentional or not...

the only time that intentional/accidental comes into play is with a handball

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,003 ✭✭✭✭The Muppet

who said anything about the ref not seeing it apart form yourself?

Rubbish indeed, I think your imagining things, I'm talking about elbows here. Ie you intentionally elbow somone its a foul, you accidentally do and it's not.

That's a strange substitution is it not?

Great finish from Carrick, great pass from Giggs to him too.

Would love to see Obertan and Welbeck come on for Giggs and Owen at this point.

It'd be nice if Welbeck gets on too, for Giggs maybe in the last 10.
