You're options will be limited by what you can actually get. No point suggesting anything unless you know it's available.

Cable or fixed wireless (not 3G, nothing mobile, not Ripwave or Clearwire).

Do you know of anyone reputable who can do these?

    What area are you in?

You can check on on UPC.ie for coverage but it isn't 100% accurate, tells me I can get coverage but I can't.

You can also try some fixed wireless operators. I use Digiweb Metro fixed wireless an can game on Pc/360/PS3 with no problems online. I get about 80ms pings to TF2 servers on Pc for gaming and there is never really any problem with the network. Their cap is crummy though at 30GB on the reasonably priced package.

    These are the metro prices:

If you gave your location and everything and it came up with satellite broadband option which it seems from above, don't bother as it won't be good enough for gaming.

There might be a wireless provider in your area that is small, don't know of any. Someone else here might.

Satellite is not broadband, and no, you won't be able to game with it.

There's feck all wireless in the New Ross area, other than Permanet. If you can't get DSL, you're probably out of luck.

have you tried 3? with there national broadband sceme if your signal isnt great they give you a repeater to boost your reception. They only sell modems instore but they have a new Mifi product which uses draft g and b so im sure you could connect your 360 to it.

The Xbox doesn't have a Wifi connection, and mobile midband is fairly useless for gaming. Midband from Three being the worst of all.
