Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking for a Printer, Scanner, Copier all in one for under €80. what would be the best brand to buy - Epson, HP, Canon, for both quality and cost of ink?

    Thanks

I don't believe there's any value out there for 80 quid. What you save on cost of printer you lose tenfold on ink. I suggest a samsung multifunction... dabs.ie. cartridge will last for ages and has a sheet feeder.

    Samsung SCX4623F A4 Mono Multifunction
    Delivery 3-5 days
    quicklinx: 69SQWS
    mfr#: SCX-4623F/SEE

    €152.93 inc vat

I think the all in one's are a total waste of space but if you must get one?

    Buy this cheap HP

HP Deskjet F2420 All In One

Do NOT buy this printer or any printer that Argos sell. This is one of the worst on the market at the moment. Standard carts will print about 150 pages and they are not cheap - about €40 for OEM bk + colour. There's also a lot of electrical failures will their latest carts so buying remanufactured carts for this printer will be a waste of time. Power City sell the F2280 for €45. You'll pick up high capacity remanufactured carts for this printer for about €25. Should get 3-400 pages from them at decent quality. Tesco cartridges are supplied by JetTec in the UK and their quality is about as good as you'll get outside of OEM. They're also 100% guaranteed.

    Inkjets to avoid -

Latest HP printers that take HP 300 or 901 series cartridges.
    Canon printers that take PG-37/38/40/41
    Any Epson printer.
    Any Lexmark printer.
    Any Dell printer.

If you are looking for high quality avoid Brother as they are pretty average in comparison to HP, Canon etc.. If quality is not a major issue they are VERY cheap printers to run if you use 3rd party compatibles. The only problem with single ink tank printers is that the printhead technology will probably burn out within a couple of years. They have to be used regularly, but not overused either.
