Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Spotted this deal on HUKD during the week (of course the offer was for a much better £8.99)

I highly recommend these series of books, different to the tv series but excellent none-the-less. Unfortunatley there doesn't seem to be a free p&p code that works on the Irish book people site at the moment so you'd have to spend over €55 to get these free p&p or a hefty €7.99 p&p if you spend less than this.

Edit- The highly mysterious Free P&P that I got a few months ago that noone else seemed to be able to get has happened again. I was able to order the oxford a to z collection for €7.99 delivered. Just go to checkout when you are logged in and give it a try....worth a shot!

I also saw this offer on HUKD, however, the one thing I don't understand is that the first book is actually 3 books in one, but is missing over 100 pages from the actual individual versions of each of the first 3 books.

I think some of the posters on HUKD who received the sets said it was first 3 separate books, not a 3 in 1 omnibus despite what the picture shows....Bit odd if a 3 in 1 edition has 100 pages missing alright.

I just read that a user on HUKD received 8 books too, cheers; that's my order put through. ;)

They also have the 9th book "dead and gone" on Amazon for £4 if you are ordering anything else from there (such as the Trailer park boys!!) On book 7 myself now and they are great.

I saw that too the other day; Amazon book prices are amazing. I'll see how I get on with the first 8 and then most likely buy the 9th and 10th.

I'm 7/9ths through the book collection, the characters and plot-lines differ
from the first two seasons but there is enough overlap and similarity to
maintain the interest. I find each book a quick and easy read but there
    are some continuity issues.

Just finished no 7 last night! Agree with you about the continuity issues, but apparently some of these are explained in sookie short stories that Charlaine as written as part of other collections. I bought A touch of dead http://www.amazon.co.uk/Touch-Dead-Sookie-Stackhouse-Vampire/dp/0575094427/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1258998964&sr=8-1 which has most of these short stories in it. I haven't read it yet but reviews aren't great but apparently it clears up a few things.

Link for the 9th book for £4 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dead-Gone-Sookie-Stackhouse-Vampire/dp/0575085509/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1258999172&sr=1-1
