Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

AM radio eh? that's got to be a first....

no mention of DIVX, either from disc or via the USB port. if it has that, it could be pretty good value.

    Subwoofer: 30W

On the box it says "Model Features Divx 3.11 and above"

[Edit] Two posters on the Tevion support forum reporting that they only have sound from two speakers, might be worthwile keeping an eye on whether they get the problem resolved before you purchase or at the very least be sure to keep your reciept safe!

I picked one up for a mate yesterday, as he wasn't near a branch himself. They were keeping the stock in the manager's office so I have no idea how many they had. Guess you'll just have to take pot luck.

I'm not sure how it compares, but Powercity have a similar Phillips system for around €125 if you order online.

So could you plug your external HDD into the USB port and play your movies from there???

I would imagine it means that you can burn Divx files onto a DVD / CD and watch them on the player

Harvey Normans have a philips 5.1 system that looks pretty decent for €130 at the moment

Looks like the HTS3270 which is €179 @ Komplett

Appears like the default mode gave 2.1 sound and a simple change of the mode via the remote control solves the problem.

One of the features listed is:
USB 2.0 and SD/MS/MMC card reader

What would be the point of that if it cant read files from USB/SD cards?

So if it can read files from the USB you could play your DivX directly from the USB (external HDD)

If it's like their DivX-compatible DVD players there's probably a limit to what size of a HDD you can hook up to the USB port (100GB in the case of mine).
