hi there, just wondering what peoples thoughts are on this, have 8K and had decided to put in into a 3yr fixed savings account with anglo irish bank. But then I read this article this morning:

    http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/finance/2009/1123/1224259297214.html

The title of the article "Arguments for closing down Anglo appear overwhelming". Is there any point in me putting my money in here for 3yrs? The future does not look good for anglo, should I bother and just look elsewhere?

    Thanks.

If it gets closed down, it won't be overnight and arrangements will be made for existing customers.

So I'd not overly worry just yet.
