Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Basically, I have a Sony davdz260 dvd 5.1 home cinema kit. I want to get a blu ray player that will work with the 5.1 speakers. Is this possible ?

If you want to connect a BR player to your kit linked above, you can I assume do so through either the Audio Line IN (Optical) or Audio Line IN (Coaxial), and running the video direct to the display. The manual will tell you for sure.

Also bear in mind that you will not get the HD audio track as the most that can be sent over optical/coax is 1.5mb which is full plain DTS. Many BR players will downmix the HD audio into full DTS plain for such circumstances, and this would save you a bit of expense of having to upgrade _everything_.
