Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey all,

Well I've decided I want to get something new over xmas for my camera and I'm a bit lost..

    I've currently got a Canon 1D MKII,Sigma 20-40 f/2.8,Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 a 1.4 tc and a 430ex flash..

    Bags,tripod/monopod are all fine..

I was considering getting something to cover the 20-70 range a bit better but I'm yet to find anything which will work on the APS-C sensor(with in my small budget)..

So I've decided to get a Used 50mm f/1.4 while I'm visiting my family in the UK,These can be picked up for £190(€210) upwards and I feel this is quite a fair price,I considered the 50mm f/1.8 but I'd rather not have it break again..

Has any one got any comments or suggestions as to what I should get?

    Thanks

how about a few books on improving technique or ideas for inspiration? you can buy gear till the cows come home but it won't necessarily make you a better photographer or make better pictures.

Feed your head, not your camera bag would be my advice.

    :D

Although I considered one of these there are very few used for sale and I already have an f/2.8 for that range..
