    Hi Folks,

Let me be the first inept bloke to seek advice for his better half’s Xmas pressie.

Would anyone have any recommendations for a really good quality, cool make up box or vanity case?

I have seen a few online but I’m unaware of which are good makes etc etc.

I am willing to spend up to €150.00- €200.00.

The one’s I have seen are kind of cargo boxes, which are probably really good, but I would prefer something a bit classier or even funkier as it will be in our bedroom….

    I like this one http://www.beauty-boxes.com/product_details.aspx?Code=BB360MOL

These also look cool but you can't see inside them :(

Any advice on whats good and where to buy them?

I am based in Dublin btw.

    Thanks in advance Folks.

My boyfriend got me one of the large MAC ones during the year; it's very sturdy and much better quality than any I've had previously. I'm not sure what price they are here tho as he got it abroad. Worth investigating tho:)

TK Maxx also had a wire drawer stand which I thougt would have been very good for make-up; but obviously that isn't transportable.

(I also use a large trolley toolbox that I bought in Aldi:o......it works very well tho)

    Hi Madame Razz.

Thanks for that, I was actually on the MAC website and saw a really nice one, I won't link it as it has the price on it :p

However they don't ship outside of the States

So I'm afraid its back to the drawing board for me.

    :(

The MAC traincase is 300e here, very pricey for what you get IMO. I got my own one in Make Up For Ever last year for 170e, it's gorgeous but my collection has outgrown it now :o I have a problem....

    Hey,
My friends got me a make up case very similar to the Beauty Box one you linked. You can get them in Inglot in Liffey Valley. I find it excellent. Its big enough to keep all my make up organised in, its also very sturdy. I'm not sure what price they are though.

Thanks fort your help on this Folks.

I'm gonna check out those places....

Although I am on my way up to Belfast in the next two weeks, I see MAC have a counter in Debenhams in Castle Court Shopping centre.

No doubt it'll be cheaper than down here.

Anyone have any other spots in Belfast worth checking for these?

Thanks for all your help people.:)

    Brian
