Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
I own an old 1950's semi and I'm looking at taking it on as a renovation project. I want to get new windows, knock a few walls and put in a new boiler. I was wondering if it is possible to replaster or reskim interior walls to get a better interior finish. Is ther much preparation required or can they plaster over existing paint? I would like to fit new light switches, skirting boards and architraves as well to give it a modern clean appearance.
    Any advice greatly appreciated.
Also, does anyone have any good info or websites on refurbishing this typre of house?

    Thanks,
    D
