Well I just spent the day ripping up carpet from the Hall Stairs and Landing at home.:D
It was hard work and I have a few cuts from the carpet tacks and broke all my nails.:eek:

BUT!!

I am so happy about getting rid of it, and I feel very satisfied now.:)

New carpet arriving tomorrow and it's getting laid by two hunks.

chocolate makes me happy everyday

Silly and all as this might sound, but what made me really happy today was seein my dog behave for my mum when she told her to get up on her chair.... She never listens to mum but she did today!!! And the expression she had on her cute little boxer puppy face was just sooooooooooo adorable!!!

My 5 year old daughter's bedroom went from looking like a bomb had hit it to clean and tidy (verging on OCD!) in the space of an hour and I didn't even have to lift a finger! Bribing her with Santa has definitely started to work! So that's what made me happy today

I put my Christmas tree up a while ago and the decs' and it makes me happy that I don't have to put it on the things to do list later in december.:D

Plus it's all cosy now.:pac:

I made my first ever pizza today , and I got it nearly perfect , beating the italian at his own game so I'm happy

Also , happy this forum is here .

Coughing my guts up but gives me excuse to have load of tea, and have family coming tomorrow which is great, get to make them the pizza and show them I really can cook:D .

Wow you did such a nice job! It's so Christmassy I love it! I'm already blasting The Fairytale of NewYork!! I always wait until my birthday to put up my tree though.. It's so hard to wait!

Thing that always makes me smile:

When I'm on a late shift and my boyfriend is on an early shift, he fills up a hotwater bottle for me and gives it to me with a nice sugary cup of tea so I'm still warm having a lie in before work. Best ever!

Morning: Singing along really loud to a great happy song (this morning it was Yes by McAlmont & Butler), in the car or in the shower (or pretty much anywhere at home).

Afternoon: Walking along the street wrapped up in a cosy coat on a bright sunny winter day, listening to my ipod (restraining myself from singing along really loud)

Evening: My cat curled up on my lap, purring away to herself.
