    Very funny tonight as usual!

I nearly wet my pants at the pedophile priest magic trick.

Anyone know what the name of the song is that was playing a few minutes ago when the priest was doing the magic show?
    Aphex Twin: Windowlicker.

The full-length video contains Language. :D

You don’t have to get out of bed for it.

Next episode is a good one too. Why do the Irish Drink so Much? It's been on before and it's very funny.

    We're all in this psy-op together.🤨

    Are these repeats?

Anyone got a full episode/series listing?

Yes, this is the only one that has been on before. Maybe earlier this year.

yep - these are repeats. some very good observations - albeit one-time-shot type stuff where you can't go back to the well again.

I hate the "Mick 'the bull' Daly" character. It really bugs me.

Ah, Mick's great. A pretty typical culchie barman.

Angels and Rainbows. I must have that song. Fúcking brilliant. Stark, insightful and satirical at the same time is something I can get behind.

A must watch show for me, these episodes have confirmed that for me.

Seeing as they showed the pilot tonight i'm assuming it's the end of the current series?

On the whole, I thought it was decent enough, there were one or two flat moments throughout the series, but could be expected of any episodic comedy.

It's actually probably the first comedy with Rte involvement that , if it were to be seen abroad, wouldn't make me feel embarrassed to be Irish.

Because you can only take so many scrubs and friends repeats before mental illness sets in. I find this a pleasant distraction from that end.

but I still think this show is hilarious. Keep up the good work.

Why so much hate for McSavage though? Maybe some posters were the victims of his impromptu street comedy? :D

As far as I can tell even those who start with 'I hate McSavage,... end with 'but the show was good.'
    Must check the poll.

Yeah pretty sure that's the last one of the season. Overall, ok.
Nice to have a bit of dark, angry humour in Irish comedy, even if its hit n miss. Beats everything else anyway. - including the muppets / puppets (who once were good)

No, a pretty typical idea of a culchie barman from someone who had never set foot in a pub outside county dublin

Or a caricature of the "townie's" pre-conceptions of a culchie barman. Either way, it only really works when the jokes are funny. Which his invariably arent.

Its an exaggeration to the point of obscene. I like it, have to say. Joke wise up n down

I've been to many pubs down the country and have met similar characters to Mick the Bull. Ok, I know it's slightly exaggerated but they do exist. :)

I assume last night were the last episodes?

Have been watching this programme since the series began.
I think its a great show with plenty of laugh out loud moments. Best comedy RTE has shown in a long long time. I knew nothing about McSavage before this show. Maybe some of the negative posters have been bringing to much baggage to this thread?
