insua should be replaced by benayoun, and aurelio to move to left back.. benayoun would make a huge difference now, even if hes not fully fit

He's been a weak link for us this season I feel. Probably playing too many games due to injurys etc. Yes this team is like a pub team, not over until the second goes in though.

Aye love rafa but he seems to be almost showing contempt for the fans, I fully appreciate that he needs to make the decisions and not bow to fan or any other pressure but also it's as if he's trying to just prove a point.

That was a fairly shocking performance from everyone bar Mascherano, N'Gog and, I suppose, Agger.

Otherwise though... not much cause for hope at all.

There must be something we're not being told about Aquilani. Can't understand why they aren't blooding him in games like this if he's fully fit.

Europa League here we come. It's all the Liverpool team deserve to be fair. They have been crap this season.

There is a couple of minutes left in the fiorentina game. Lyon have been largely ineffectual for the game but they've had a few free kicks and a couple of chances in the last ten minutes.

Regardless, even a draw wont be good enough. Liverpool arent going to score more than three in the last game.

And finally, Rafa. WHAT IS THE POINT OF BRINGING AQUILANI ON IN THE 91ST MINUTE ? Surely the perfect game for him. It was basically a training match, in which all the players had tonnes of time and space and werent being tackled hard. There will not be a better game to introduce a new player in the entire season. Seeing as he is supposed to be a creative player and the match was dying for someone with a bit of flair. The lad has been on the bench for weeks now. Why is he on the bench if he cant manage more than 2 minutes on the pitch ?

Europea league it is, and based on Liverpools performances in the Champions League this season, they deserve nothing better.
