Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Kris Finnerty & Plug DJs
"It is difficult in one way to describe Kris’ type of music with full accuracy. It is, on the one hand, classic folk, playing as he does alone with his acoustic guitar and harmonica. However, it is also simultaneously modern and edgy. What I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, is that Kris is captivating. I have been in pubs where he has played and on hearing him sing an instant and spontaneous silence descended among the patrons and all eyes remained on Kris for the duration of his set, breaking only to clap and cheer." Colm Lynch
Colm Lynch has a distinctive style when it comes to playing live. He’s happily aggressive with the guitar, if there could be such a paradox. His live show consists of an eight-piece band and the energy of a small ESB station. His music is rock with a hint of blues and folk. His style is upbeat and his attitude seems to be contagiously reflected in the group he plays with. “This group of musicians have been with me for about 2 years, they seem to understand me inside out. From the very first day they just picked up on the vibe and then of course they lend their own personal gift to it. They’re all heavily invested in it. It feels more like a group thing, than just me now.”

Founded in 2003, Redkid have a shoeless craz’d front-man, a busker from the streets of Barcelona, a drummer with a wacky style of beats, one Beatle-esk Liverpool rocker and a giant of a bass player. They sound like indefatigable pop rock mixed with earworm melodies to give a strong new wave rock sound with a hint of ska and funk. http://www.redkid.info/

Tucan are a two-piece duo by the name of Donal Gunne and Pearse Feeney from Sligo who have been plying their instrumental guitar music on the national scene for a couple of years. They have been, and are, redefining our opinions of the increasingly popular musical genre on this side of the pond by incorporating a crossover of different musical styles such as flamenco; jazz; trad; heavy metal; classical and 60s rock into their music. It’s a right veritable feast of melodious musicianship; sizzling speed & intricate intensity that has brought them all around the country to packed out venues in Limerick; Cork & Galway to name but a few. http://www.tucanmusic.com/
