    Hi there
Just wondering if any of you know of a cheap company to ship a box/bag (approx. 15-20kg) from Australia to Ireland? Im not worried about the length of time it takes as long as it gets to Ireland!
    Thanks

Mahatma's people smuggling side business had one major flaw. It smuggles people from thriving countries (Australia) to poor countries (Ireland).

    for OP - I used http://www.ossworldwidemovers.com/

for Scien - average is around 10 days, but around December allow 2+ weeks. delivery times can vary a lot, so you can't really time your post to arrive on a certain date.

for mahatma - top marks on the gag.

Actually I got the company wrong. OSS were the people in the UK who received my shipment & forwarded to Ireland. I originally went with
http://www.overseaspackers.com.au/ - problem is, they are in brisbane only.

I shipped 17 boxes back, around 50cm3, and it was around $1500 in total, however I did strike a deal with the blokes who collected the stuff. They underquoted the volume I slipped them a few notes, saved me a couple of hundred.

After all this time I hope they are well and truly sorted by now........

Looking back at all the old names about, I wonder if Mahatma ended back in Oz after his exile (being shafted by an employer that is)

Interesting first post, any connection maybe???
