Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You can transfer the licence but not have it running on two machines at the same time. It may be possible at a technical level but isn't allowed by the terms of the licence

    That's an important difference.

If it's an upgrade copy of window and the laptop had an OEM copy of windows (most likely) then the upgrade copy is no longer transferable , it now lives and dies with the laptop :(

    not 100% sure but....

wga runs in the background on your pc and sends m$......
    your installation code
    some machine details
    your ip

...every few minutes when your online,

if they find the key in use from different machines or different ip's then the details is spit out on a machine somewhere, where m$ can decide to ban that code, then all machines will come up with a you are the victim of counterfit software pop-up
