What with the strike on and all, does anyone know if that includes traffic wardens and clampers? Can we park for free in the dyke rd car park for example or even at the back of the council office at eyre square seeing as most of the public sector workers there won't be using it today.

    Clampers are contractors AFAIK

Why do you expect to park for free?

I don't think so, but you can speed there*

Why did the above post get a thanks? Jeez, the person was only asking if the wardens were working today - Who in their right mind would pay for parking if there was no need to?

Fools and their money easily parted...

Just because there is no one watching doesn't mean you should ignore the law / bylaw.

Don't be such a goody two-shoes, it's parking, not robbing a bank ffs.

Should we just start paying for P&D on Sundays, too? :pac:

How is stealing from the (cash strapped) city council more OK than from a (bailed out by the government) bank?

How does it rank on the "ok-ness" scale with sealing from a wealthy businessman, a solo parent, or an innocent kid?
