On Amazon.co.uk a black Ipod 160gb classic is costing £183.25 when VAT etc is added to the final price.

P&P to Ireland is free so that brings the total cost in euro to €211 against the €229 to €239 price in pretty much all bricks and mortar stores over here.

yep...ipod touch (8G) is 189 euro....in Tesco.

That's just the difference in the Irish and UK VAT rates as you pay 21.5%VAT on orders shipped here.
