Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Uninstalling an Office 2003 update remotely

    Hi,

I need to uninstall an office update from 60 odd computers which will require me to log on as administrator on each machine... I don't want to have to do that so does anyone know a good way to do it remotely, probably via command line? I've tried WMIC, and used this script here, but it only list Windows updates, not Office updates and I can't find a switch to display them. It's update KB973475 btw, and it's screwing up the linking of spreadsheets.

    Thanks

Your question may be better suited to the Servers and Systems forum.

I cant think of any conventional way to do what youre asking. I imagine you would need Server-Admin level access. I assume the 60 PCs are tied into some kind of Server?

Macro? if every pc is installed and set up the same way you could run a script (batch file) to the run the macro as admin. You can have this run remotely, run it off a cd that auto runs. a usb stick or even just type it yourself it they're all on a network. for example
    start run \\yourip\script.bat
