Guess The Lyrics Game

    Inspired by the other Rock & Metal forum game threads, here is another one. Basically someone posts up a line or two (maybe even a whole verse) from a Rock or Metal song. Whoever guesses the song and the artist posts up another one. So, for example, the answer to this:
    Just an urchin living under the street
    I'm a hard case that's tough to beat
    I'm your charity case
    So buy me something to eat
    I'll pay you at another time
    Take it to the end of the line

    would be Guns N' Roses - Paradise City.

    So here's one to start off with:
    Face down, arms out
    Nailed to the cross of doubt
    Blood runs like rain
    Drowning for this world in vain

    Here's another one:
