i know the owner of the goergian well, if you think it looks bad on the outside you should really see the inside

Thanks for the photo boosh_fan - I was hoping someone did.The number of times I drove past this place and didn't take a pic before the hoarding went up!
Does anyone know if it is being refurbished or demolished?

No picture and it's technically not an old sign but has anyone else noticed the "irish republic" flag (like the 1916 version) flying from the TEEU building in parnell street?

What's the history of the place? I know nothing about it other than it's distinctive and rather dilapidated facade?

Great picture Dord, Lynch's used it as a beer garden complete with canopy! I assumed it was lost for good so great to see it's still there, what a shame to see it's a bit of a rubbish dump now. :(

Last I saw, it's still in a remarkable state of preservation... hopefully will remain so

I often pass Cormacks shop in Lucan Alex, I sometimes picture it as an aladdins cave of 1970's/80's toys hidden in it's attic or back room, I can always dream.:)

Had a look yesterday, all i could see was loads of old books and furniture unfortunately.

at the door into the Camera exchange on South great Georges st there's
"Ganters & Sons Ltd" in mosaic,I think it might be hidden by a doormat though?
    they were watchmakers

just at the corner of capel st and little strand st (i think?)

there's a great sign for "music maker" from the 80's I guess, looks cool
it's wooden and starting to really fall apart though,so it won't be there much longer i'd say

I think that's Mary's Abbey. I remember that place from years ago, sold every type of musical instrument imaginable.
