It would be remiss of this forum not to acknowledge the great work, by all accounts, of those volunteers involved in operations to deal with the effects of major flooding around the country. Civil Defence and the Red Cross along with local volunteers have been on hand to aid those affected by the floods. Well done to all and if you have any descriptions of what went on/is going on feel free to post a reply.

Order of Malta Ireland, Dublin Region is sending a Fleet of Ambulances down to Ballinasloe this Sunday the 29th of November to assist with the Transportation of Aid to the People affected by the Floods.

They need basic necessities for survival. The Society of the St Vincent de Paul in Ballinasloe, is in desperate need of tinned food, clothing, bed linen, cooking utensils, etc for the families affected by these floods.

If you can contribute anything Please Contact our Headquarters on.

Civil Defence more on their activities. SVP more on their activities in their news section. Order of Malta volunteering.
It has become an even more extensive effort to help flood victims as the flooding spread. All those nights training and weekends for the volunteers has become very central in helping people get through this flooding crisis. Well done again.
