Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We are planning a trip to France at the end of Dec/ Early Jan. We have just converted a Transit van and are taking it on its first trip!! was just wondering if anyone has done something similar at that time of year of if you may have some recommendations of places to stay, routes etc. We would like to fit in some snowboarding/ surfing aswell.:)

The best area for surfing AND snow boarding would be the Biarritz area for surf and the adjacent Pyrenees for snow.
I hope your van is well insulated and has a good heater :D also don't forget snow chains, which are quite reasonable in the motor accessories sections of the big French supermarkets.
