Where did you hear this? I'm a "member" of their gym and I haven't heard anything from them in at least 9 months! Website still says they're closed until further notice.

So was the manager of the Kingsley sitting beside Neil Prenderville on the plane and denied seeing anything - although how you can miss a guy trying to get a girl on the other side of him to t055 him off I don't know. And why didn't he say something like any decent human being would???

According to the Irish Examiner last week it's still up for sale. €6m if you want to buy a slightly damp hotel - one previous owner.

That's a very big price-tag for a place that is completely wrecked and unlikely to ever get flood insurance again.

    Pity, I liked the kingsley.

Well the apartments there are functioning quite fine and generating an income it seems so there must be scope for some function. It's still a rather appealing location - despite the calamity that it was struck with particularly as they Crow's Nest site has finally gone up for sale too. As for insurance, they may get cover from a specialist firm but the premiums would be rather large.

Nice to hear it's opening again, hopefully won't be affected by flooding again in the next few years....
