Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Astra: Belt or Chain? and Service recommendations

Any Astra people know if my 06 Astra 1.4 Petol has a timing belt or chain. I'm due a service and was wondering. I thought it was chain however not sure. Also what is the recommended service at 80,000 KM last service was 62k and I had sparks and oil change. Thanks....

z14xep astra is a chain, suppose you could go for the whole service the bits for them aren't too dear, the pollen would need changing too

I believe there is a modified chain for the 1.4 model. the old type gave trouble with rattling or streching or something.
