Tbh i don't even think you can get email to the googlewave address yet...So chances are it'll only be someone adding us.

As above - you can't *really* get spam (as yet..) and what other issues do you see? Curious!

And Ricky - took me a while to get my head around the concept - but wave (not necessarily Google) will REPLACE email. Whole new protocol.

I know that,I watched the video :pac:

But as of yet it's still in beta,And google could easily crack down on any spam bots,Find the first one and delete all invites from there...

And I meant all spam at the moment is email,Will wave can't accept yet.

"As yet" is key here.......
This thread will be here for a long long time. As yet Spam isnt an issue......it could be in 6 months, 1 years time etc,

Email isnt really a protocol, SMTP is, and thats what the underlying protocol of wave may replace.

I would say yep - I watched it last night after seeing Ricky91t mention it.

In terms of getting your head around the whole thing, including Robots etc. I'd say it's time well spent.


I agree it'll replace email and be very useful for collaborating during meetings etc, but I don't think it's a threat to boards. Once there are too many voices (like in the thread we're all on) I can't follow the conversation anymore.


If you ask me it'll be fantastic for a wedding photographer - I could easily have seen myself working with my wedding photographer online with this tool. I think it would be deadly for that.
Probably just as good for a gig photographer too.

So how does wave make photography easier? Would it be good for C&C like would you make a wave with a picture you wanted feedback and people would chime in and give their 2 Cent?

Not to be bad,But if we do something like this a new wave should be made,Which isn't public and specific to c&c only,The Lounge made by mart_max is terrible slow now!

It's a pretty betaish beta, if you get my meaning, I'd imagine google are throwing loads of resources at it though.
