For a substitution do I need to fill out the whole 9 pages (referrees GPs letters of permission etc )again or only the relevant bits.

Relevant bits.

Name, address, new gun details, old gun details, etc.

No need for GP, referees, photo, permissions, etc.

If it's a substitution while an extension is in force, an FCA2 form is all that's needed.

sorry, should have mentioned what rrpc said. My post ( as with my subtitution) was when i had received my new license.

Cheers , I got my new license, but wanted to change it anyway.
So I swapped for a new rifle today, have the receipt will go down to station tomorrow.

I had the receipt letter (its the same as a normal application receipt letter ie. Will have a decision in 3 months, etc) got, then the license all within 10 working days. No grant letter. Just the receipt and license.
