Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey folks.
    Im looking to get a new lens for Christmas.
    I want a zoom lens using it mainly for motorsport photography.
    Im thinking the Sigma or Nikon 70-300 but im worried they might be a bit slow for auto focusing etc.
    Ant thoughts would be great. Budget would be around €250-300 max.
    Btw I have a D90 with 18-105mm lens already.

    i've got a D90 too and the standard (non-VR) 70-300 (also have) the AF would be a bit slow for those purposes. However, you can't beat the price if you can find one used. I got mine for 75e with a UV filter.
