Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hows peoples caliper knowledge?:)

Is the caliper a sealed unit or can the rubber gaitor over the piston be replaced if it's torn?

I'v a small tear in the rear of the missus car when it was snagged whiel changing pads.

yep the boot can be changed, they do it all the time when reconditioning the seals in them.

You might have to buy the seals & boot, but still wouldn't cost that much. There's usually a metal clip/spring holding the boot on.

You can probably source it online, try ebay and similar.
Or go/ring to a factors and ask, they could order it for you.
