Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Car Service history: Book Missing

    Hi all,

This one will make me look like a proper fool but sure anyway…

I bought a car from E.P Mooney about a year ago, but at the time they didn’t provide a service history with the car. I always said I’d go back to them and get it, but of course with selling the car being well down the line I put it on the long finger and completely forgot to get it (if they even had it in the first place).

So now unfortunately they’re going bust, which has reminded me about this, and I’m not sure what to do. I’ll have to ring up and see if I can get it from them. Does anyone have any useful info on this? Would garages ever hold on to service histories or could it be that they never had the book?

    Thanks a mil,

    Scraib

There probably never was one in the first place or they would have showed it to you or had it in the car!
