Help deciding between two DVD players

Looking for a new cheap DVD player for the home, not looking to spend much over 70euro as might look into investing into bluray some time in the future.
Both these seem to be good value, and have USB playback which would be an advantage.
Does the lidl one upscale?
Can they power a USB powered HDD eg. WD passport?
Are they very limited in terms of file support from USB?

Your TV upscales. I would not put any weighting behind a DVD player of that budget having better scaling than your TV.

Compare other features, but not that one.
