NUIM Drama Society proudly presents Bertolt Brecht's infamous anti-Nazi drama, 'Fear and Misery of the Third Reich'.

Written between 1933 and 1938, the production is an assortment of autonomous scenes, each portraying realistically the overwhelming fear, misery and paranoia present within the lives of everyday men and women under the Third Reich. These scenes switch between being heart-wrenching, distressing and absurd as we delve deeper and deeper into the domestic conscience of Nazi Germany.

    Staring:

    Joe Byrne
    Eilís Carey
    Claire Costigan
    Ann-Marie Davidson
    Cathal Donnelly
    Edel Doran
    Sam Dowzard
    Michael King
    Ciaran O'Carroll
    Michael Murphy

    Directed by Keith Broni

Staged by kind permission of Samuel French Ltd
Supported by NUIM Department of English and NUIM Department of German

The production runs from Tuesday the 8th of December to Thursday the 10th of December within the Aula Maxima. Tickets can be purchased at the door and cost €3 for members / €5 for non-members. Doors open at 7.30pm and the show begins at 8.00pm.
