Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I wondering about the 2 days teaching experience which you must get while studying for the h dip in education. If you get 2 days teaching experience in a school, do you generally get paid for it?

Also, does the college where your doing the h dip find a teaching place for you if you cannot find one yourself? What happens if you cannot find one?

    Cheers

    JByrne

Could you not have asked everything in the one thread?

You have to find your own school. Not sure what happens if you can't find one, you just have to keep trying. And no, you don't get paid.

if you don't get a school you must contact the college immediately.

they can help you out but they would really prefer that you looked yourself.

They can usually provide you with a list of schools that have taken in dip students in the past, but to my recollection you don't get that info until you have a place on the course, around april.

You are best not looking until closer to then anyway as most schools won't entertain you, they will certaintly be too busy to think about you now.
