Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Took a visit to the woods the other day, had to move fast as the rain clouds were moving in 'fast' !!! The light was very poor, some of these are at 8 & 10 seconds !
    Lenses used:
    Nikon 135mm
    Pentax 28mm
    Oly 14-42mm

    Nice shots :), I prefer No.1 in colour than No.3 in B&W.

What did No.4 look like in colour?

    Really like number 2.

Also like number 4, although think I'd prefer it level rather than tilted.

    Not as good as 1 !!! :p

Yeah, the tilted shot was a mistake (in-a-hurry-delete-afterwards-shot) but I thought I'd try and do something with it !!

number 2 for me. where are those woods?

High standard as always but maybe too many are too similar for C&C.

    My favourite would be #2

I meant the bright colours! Did you go trigger happy with the saturation slider on the greens?
    But i do like them, especially 2 & 5

Near the Galtee mountains, tis a great place. :)

Nope, but you raise a good point, because I don't remember the scene being so vibrant before, maybe (and its just a wild idea) it could be down to the long exposure on a wet evening ! :o
BTW, thanks for all the comments ;)

That would make sense - wet grass always does look very vibrant

#1 looks ridiculously over-saturated. The foreground greens come across as being blown out. Additionally, the scene is crooked. #3 is contrarily flat. All of the vibrancy and life in #1 has been lost in a straight greyscale conversion.

#4 I would be interested in seeing in colour.
