Period house Renovation Info

    Hi,

    can anyone recommend any good websites\blogs for info on renovating a period house. I’m looking for info on everything from general building info to specific info on things like restoring sash windows, sourcing salvage materials etc etc. I am also really interested in any sites with good "before and after" photos of renovations for inspiration. Especially interested in anything Irish or UK based

    Check out a site called formerglory its got great contacts on it and any body who has renovated one of these houses knows more that me, im just about buy an old house and they could be of some help.
