Has the problem just surfaced lately? Been having a lot of problem myself for last few days with BT (Leixlip exchange)

I have problems with BT in Leixlip too. I have to get the modem to reset the line, to fix it. Seems to have started on Friday.

    Glad it's not just me.

I think it is those technically incompetent twerps Vodafone.

I had a feeling this would happen as soon as BT actually handed over any part of the technical operations to V.

I have been getting this for a week or more - every day.

If you log into your router - BT Voyager in my case - and go to Troubleshooting and click on the 'run diagnostic tests' button, mine will report every thing as Pass - except for the last item - Ping Default Gateway:. That comes up as Fail.

Since the gateway is run by Vodafone, it is a fault with them.

At the moment, the default gateway is 193.95.136.241

And that seems to belong to:

    IP Address Contact Information

    OrgName: RIPE Network Coordination Centre
    OrgID: RIPE
    Address: P.O. Box 10096
    City: Amsterdam
    StateProv:
    PostalCode: 1001EB
    Country: NL

We're screwed. Vodafone can't even put a website
together, what hope of them running a broadband service.
