Unmarked Naval Vessel parked at Eastlink Oct 09

    Did anyone see a unmarked naval vessel docked at or near the Eastlink Bridge(Dublin) in early october about the size of a coastal patrol type or was i been delusional ?!:confused:

    Completely unmarked? That would be very odd. Was she flying national colours? Did she have a big white P on the bow?

    Should still have been flying national colours though...or jack, I'm not 100% on naval terminoligy.

    Generally speaking, it's an ensign on the aft end, and a jack on the jackstaff up for'd.

    Completley unmarked; that's why it caught my eye. No Flags ; no P on the side, nothing. I thought it was some decomissioned boat !

    Did it have a gun? A few SFPA and RN vessels have been sold to survey companies.
    Did it look like a minesweeper? frigate?
