The Carrrick River Rescue have very active looking for that man from Clonmel in the river for the last two or so weeks .

But I have seen a lot more activity today than there has been in the past two weeks which would point to someone else having went in the river.

No one since gone in to the river. When some one enters the water and drowns and sinks. However they are important dates that the gasses given off by food in the stomach will float the body. 7-9days is the first important time frame where you will see a increse in activity on the river with the halo and all services conducting a search.
The next date is after 21days where the same will occur and a large search re assumed and then 35days is the nxt most significant date.
This is not a exact science but a very good indicator of when a body will float.
Some people will get dis-hartened when they see a search being scaled down after a day or two but the services know what they are doing will go back out searching at the apprioacte time.
