Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Saturday 28th of November
    Villa v Spurs 17:30 Away 1-2
    Blackburn v Stoke 15:00 Home 1-0
    Portsmouth v Man utd 15:00 Away 0-3
    Fulham v Bolton 15:00 Home 3-1
    Wigan v Sunderland 15:00 Draw 0-0
    West Ham v Burnley 15:00 Draw 1-1

    Sunday 29th of November
    Wolves v Birmingham 12:00 Home 1-0
    Everton v Liverpool 13:30 Away 2-4
    Arsenal v Chelsea 16:00 Home 2-1

I reckon Arsenal at home will just about shade it - after taking the lead in the first half, doubling that early in the second and a nervous finish following a chelsea goal around the 75th min.

Everton/Liverpool game will either be a damp squib or a box of fireworks - at least 2 sendings off and an OG or two.

United should ease past Pompey - new manager or not they shouldnt be capable of withholding a united attack.

Why are some teams just so bad away? Edit I'm listening to the HT report from Upton Park and it sounds like every goal was questionable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

lack of possesion away from home especially if they start with a starting line up as if they where at home asking for trouble

When do you think Hughes will get the chop at city? He seems completely incapable of motivating his players.

Bullard! Peno 1-1 Hughes out (or rather Hughes in!)

Jimmy Bullard - comedy genius. Recreated Phil Brown's famous on-the-pitch teamtalk from last season for his goal celebration today at Eastlands!

For City read Liverpool, similar level of averageness. Neither seems able to pull away.

great start for Villa, Carew looks up for it too which is nice and spurs despite looking dangerous are giving a lot of sloppy balls away.

    Gabby 1-0

Villa 1 Spurs 1 Dawson scores, it was only a matter of time, Sidwell came on for NRC and we have been out run in Midfield since

In fairness mate, we were knocking on the door the entire 2nd half.

Cuellar was immense, O'Neill's tactics had Lennon marked out of the game, and if you'd pressed a bit more in the 1st half you might have had another goal cushion.

    Fair result.

100th draw for Villa in Premiership. First team to do it. A milestone around their neck I would say
