    Mace Head is situated near Carna Co Galway on the west coast of Ireland and is involved in a suite of atmospheric and climate programs including air quality research, atmospheric composition, aerosols, climate change, climate-ecosystem interactions, tidal surges and flooding.

    The lecture will focus on the history of Mace Head, key results and trends as well as on how the measurements taken are used in climate modelling.
