Parks near Leixlip?

    I'm minding a friends dog in Leixlip for a week. Wondering if there's any good parks nearby for walking?

    St. Catherine's park between Leixlip and Lucan, the canal walk is nice too

    Theres one down by the fire station too. Never been in it though... don't have a dog...

    go to Castletown in Celbridge. only 5 mins from lexlip. dont go through the town but go in the back entrance (no pun) which is just off the motorway/behind HP. there is a carpark there. you will meet loads of other people walking dogs in this park. bring boots as the park part of it is muddy this time of the year
