    Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of setting up a new website. I have over 14,000 products with pictures & text that I need to put on the site.

Does anybody know af a company that does this type of work ?

    Any help would be wonderful.

    Regards,

    Philip.

I'd suggest Hiring a VA (Virtual Assistant) or team of VA's. All the content needs to be copy scape and unique to make the most of Google and SEO. Try some of the following (please note i'm not recommending any firm particularly but its a start)

Getafreelancer.com - Post a job and get bids from people around the world, also elance is another similar service.

Get friday (GetFriday.com) - Large VA firm based in India, good as its easy to scale up and down workload by adding more people to the team to meet deadlines.

Brick Work (http://www.b2kcorp.com/) - This is what big fortune 500 companies use, strictly suit and tie, most have Master Degrees. You pay a little more for these pro's, security is over the top to ensure no information leakage.

Also considering just using a local temp agency. I can't stress enough how amazing the job pool in Ireland is at the moment, there are so many incredibly intelligent people available for work at reasonable rates. These people will most likely be happy to work from home as all you need for this job is an internet connection (Try http://adecco.ie/ or call into a few local agencies in your town)

Hope that helps and best of luck with the project.

    Hi Philip,

Shouldn't be a big job providing you have the products in some sort of excel spreadsheet or something. A program can be written to go through all these products and put them into your database.

PM me if your interested and I can do it for you.

What eCommerce platform are you using- Something hand-rolled or is it ZenCart, PrestaShop or one of those?

What sort of business with 14,000 products! Sounds Impressive.
